Tchaikovsky’s Rococo with Münchner Philharmoniker

In the early November Tatjana will perform Tchaikovsky’s Rococo Variations at the prestigious Philharmonie Gasteig  in Munich, with the great Münchner Philharmoniker Orchestra, conducted by M° Dmitrij Kitajenko.

    I am waiting for this concert to appear on CD since I won’t have the chance to see it, is a recording planned or maybe even at work?

    I was fortunate to attend the concert in Munich. We were spellbound by Tatjana’s performance. I hope we might see her in the US soon; perhaps in the Washington, DC area.
    Can you tell me what the encore piece was that she played?

    I had the privilege to hear Tatjana Vassiljeva live in Munich last week on Nov 6, 2010. It was the most brilliant cello performance I have ever encountered! Unfortunately, I did not find any CD with a recording of this masterpiece (Tchaikovsky’s Rococo Variations) – is any recording already available or will it be in the near future?
